Our screenwriting group recently wrote a Stomp (aka a Thunderfoot short film) called “We Need to Talk” and shot it at the studio on August 1. We had tons of fun playing with equipment, learning how to shoot with the LED light wall, and giving folks who are new to production a chance to learn valuable skills.
“We Need to Talk” is currently being edited, and we will put it out for the world to see soon. In the meantime, we’ve already started planning the second Thunderfoot Stomp. This one will be a horror short, also shot at the studio. We plan to release it in time for Halloween.
Our writers room is brainstorming ideas now, and we will write the script August 10 – 17. We will solicit feedback on it at our next screenwriting meeting on Monday, August 17 at 5:30. Feel free to join us! Screenwriting meetings are free and open to anyone over 18.
